Healthy chocolate cookies

Serves 4 #STARFineFoods Ingredients: 5 oz wholegrain rolled oats 1 oz raw cocoa powder 2 spoonfuls of date syrup (bought or homemade) 9 oz egg whites 2 oz chopped nuts One tablespoon of STAR Extra Light Olive Oil Instructions:

Mix the rolled oats, egg whites, walnuts and cocoa powder in a bowl. The amount of cocoa powder you use will depend on how bitter you want the cookies to be (if you find raw cocoa powder too bitter, you can always use drinking chocolate instead, which contains added sugar).

Add the tablespoon of STAR Extra Light olive oil and the date syrup, which is very easy to make yourself at home: simply soak the dates for half an hour and then beat them together with water and a few drops of lemon juice until you get the desired texture.

When you’ve got a moist cake mix, spread it out onto an oven tray in small portions. Bake at 356 ºF for 8 to 10 minutes.
