We’re celebrating one of the most famous and irresistible American dishes with a tasty Mediterranean touch.
Ingredients

1 chicken cut into 8 pieces

2 large eggs
-
5½ oz flour
-
6¾ US fl oz milk or hazelnut drink
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
STAR Extra-virgin olive oil
-
1 tbsp paprika
-
3 tsp pepper
-
Salt
Instructions

Use a fork to beat the eggs with the milk and put by.

Put the flour into a plastic freezer bag and add the garlic, paprika, salt and pepper.

Coat the chicken pieces in the eggs and milk and then put them into the bag with the flour. Seal the bag and give it a good shake to coat all the pieces evenly.

Pour plenty of STAR extra-virgin olive oil into a deep frying pan and fry the chicken over a medium-to-high heat until it is golden and crispy.

Soak up any excess oil with a paper towel and then serve with salad and corn on the cob drizzled with a little STAR extra virgin olive oil.
