Strawberry Bruschetta with a Hint of Balsamic Vinegar

A tasty treat that works perfectly as an appetizer or a dessert!
Ingredients
1 baguette
150 g strawberries
25 ml STAR balsamic vinegar of Modena
100 g goat cheese
A splash of STAR Extra Virgin Olive Oil
A few fresh basil leaves
Black pepper (optional)
Instructions

Slice the strawberries, transfer them to a bowl, and mix them with the balsamic vinegar. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15-20 minutes so they soak up the vinegar and release their juices.

Slice the baguette and toast the slices until golden brown and crispy.

Spread the goat cheese (or your favorite cheese) onto the baguette slices while they are still warm.

Lay the strawberries on top of the cheese and top with a splash of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and, if you like, finish off the dish with a pinch of black pepper.
