Cook the pasta following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a pan until it is very hot. Add the lemon zest and juice.

Add the cooked spaghetti, well drained, along with a couple tablespoons of the cooking water. Cook for a few minutes and season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serve topped with grated Parmesan and a few basil leaves.
