Creamy, sweet and with an amazing twist between the cottage cheese and the blueberry. This recipe is great for every occasion!
Ingredients
1 baguette cut into slices
2 tablespoons STAR extra virgin olive oil
150 g fresh blueberries
2 tablespoons STAR balsamic vinegar of Modena
1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup
100 g cream cheese or cottage cheese
A pinch of salt
Black pepper to taste
Fresh basil leaves for garnishing (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Lay the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush them with extra virgin olive oil. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until the slices are golden and crispy.

Combine the blueberries, balsamic vinegar and honey in a pan over medium heat. Cook everything for 3-5 minutes, until the blueberries begin to burst and the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from the heat and allow it to cool.

Spread each slice of bread with cream cheese or cottage cheese. Top with a spoonful of the blueberry mixture.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Then garnish with basil leaves.
