Place the sliced potatoes and chopped onion in a microwave safe bowl. Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with a little oil and then heat in the microwave for 5 minutes at maximum power (or bake for about 20 minutes at 356 ºF).

Set the salmon in a baking dish on top of the potatoes and onion. Lay a couple lemon slices on top of each salmon fillet and squeeze the rest of the lemon juice over the ingredients. Then add the herbs.
