In a deep saucepan add 1/3 cup bacon drippings. Sauté onion and celery
until softened. Do not brown.

Add carrots, potatoes and 2-4 cups water – simmer until potatoes are tender.

Add bacon and entire contents of Cara Mia marinated artichoke hearts.
4.
Simmer 5 minutes and add salt, pepper and warmed milk. Heat thoroughly.
