Artichoke Gratin

10-15 mins Serves 4-6 This easy artichoke gratin recipe is quick, simple, and the perfect side dish or warm appetizer! #STARFineFoods Ingredients: 1 14.75 oz. jar Cara Mia Marinated Artichokes, drained 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley 1/4 tsp. coarse ground black pepper 1 cup freshly grated Gruyere cheese 1/4 cup breadcrumbs 2 Tbsp. butter 1 tsp. STAR Extra Virgin Olive Oil Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and drizzle one teaspoon of olive oil into the bottom of an oven-safe baking dish.

In a small 8-inch skillet, add the butter and heat over medium heat. Continue to heat the butter until it turns lightly golden in color and smells nutty. Add in the breadcrumbs and stir to coat until the breadcrumbs have absorbed all the browned butter. Remove the skillet from the heat and set off to the side.

In a medium bowl combine the marinated artichoke hearts with chopped fresh parsley and black pepper. Place the artichoke hearts evenly on the bottom of the prepared oven-safe baking dish.

Sprinkle the Gruyere cheese over top of the artichoke hearts, top with the browned butter breadcrumbs and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the breadcrumbs are a deeper golden.

Serve when finished.
