Special breakfast for 2021

Serves 4 Looking for a tempting homemade breakfast for the holidays, when you want to treat yourself to something special? This is one of the simplest and most delicious breakfasts around: Bread with chocolate, olive oil and salt! #STARFineFoods Ingredients: 100 ml single cream 5 oz dark cooking chocolate (60% minimum cocoa solids) 1 tbsp butter 1 baguette Salt flakes A dash of STAR extra-virgin olive oil 60 g chopped almonds Instructions:

Take the butter out of the fridge and break the chocolate into small pieces. Warm the cream over low heat. When it begins to boil, turn the heat down to minimum, add the chocolate and let it melt slowly in a bain-marie, stirring constantly. Once you have a smooth paste, add the butter and keep stirring. Take the mixture off the heat, pour it into a dish and put it in the fridge to cool.

Cut the baguette into slices about 1 cm thick and toast. Drizzle with a little extra-virgin olive oil and add a scoop of the chocolate mixture.

Top with some salt flakes and chopped almonds.
