Pumpkin Spice Latte
Serves 2 #STARFineFoods Ingredients: For the drink: 1 oz of pumpkin ½ tsp ground cinnamon A pinch of ground ginger A pinch of nutmeg A pinch of ground cloves 15 oz walnut milk 2.5 oz freshly made espresso Sugar or sweetener (optional) --- For the topping: Whipped cream (as little or as much as you like) Ground cinnamon Instructions:Peel and chop the pumpkin and bake until soft (it can also be boiled or microwaved).
Mix the pumpkin purée and spices (and the optional sugar or sweetener) in a bowl. Add the walnut milk and heat the mixture in a saucepan, stirring continuously and being careful not to let it boil.
Turn off the heat and stir in the freshly made coffee. Pour the pumpkin spice latte through a strainer into two cups.
Top with whipped cream and a dusting of ground cinnamon.
