Penne alla Vodka

Serves 4 #STARFineFoods Ingredients: 13 oz penne 1 onion 2 cloves of garlic 1 teaspoon oregano Salt and pepper 2.36 oz vodka A splash of STAR Extra Virgin Olive Oil 3 medium ripe tomatoes 5.07 oz heavy cream 3.5 oz grated Parmesan cheese Instructions:

Boil the pasta according to the instructions.

Sauté the garlic and onion in a pan with plenty of extra-virgin olive oil. Season with salt, pepper and oregano.

Add the vodka and let the alcohol cook off.

Blanch the tomatoes in boiling water and then peel them. Grate them into the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes over medium-low heat.

Add the cream, cook for a few more minutes and add salt to taste if necessary (if there is too much acidity, add a pinch of sugar).

Add the pasta to the pan and stir well.

Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese
