Classic Apple Pie with a Healthy Twist

Serves 4 #STARFineFoods Ingredients: 1 puff pastry  3-4 firm Golden Delicious or Royal Gala apples 1.5 oz Agreena bakery butter diluted with a few drops of water 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1 beaten egg A bit of Agreena to grease the baking sheet Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 392 F.

Lay the puff pastry on the baking sheet which has been greased with Agreena and covered with baking parchment. Prick the dough all over with a fork.

Core, peel and cut the apples into thin slices.

Arrange the apple slices on top of the puff pastry, overlapping them slightly. Spread the Agreena and water mix evenly over the top; sprinkle everything with brown sugar and brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg.

Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
