Double Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies

Using a stand mixer fitted with the paddle, beat the shortening, water, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla on medium speed for 3-5 minutes.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.

Slowly, add in dry ingredients to the mixer until incorporated. Remove bowl and paddle attachment. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, stir in chocolate chips

Chill dough for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 350֯.

Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Form dough into golf ball-sized balls and place 5 per baking sheet.

Bake for 15-17 minutes, rotating pans halfway through baking.

Remove cookies from baking sheets and cool on racks. Repeat with remaining dough.
