Brownies with Caramel Sauce

Serves 6 #STARFineFoods Ingredients: 7 oz agreena 3.5 oz dark chocolate to melt 13.5 oz brown sugar 5 oz flour 4  eggs 2 oz unsweetened cocoa powder A pinch of salt --- For the caramel sauce: 3.5 oz heavy cream 3 oz agreena 2 tablespoons salt 3 oz butter Instructions:

Melt the agreena and the chocolate together in a double boiler, stirring to form a homogeneous mixture (this can also be done in the microwave). 

Add the sugar and eggs and mix well. 

Add the flour and cocoa, previously sifted, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything together until the ingredients are well incorporated, forming a firm thick batter. 

Pour the batter into a baking pan, which has been greased with agreena. Bake at 356 F for about 40 minutes. The brownie should be cooked through, but it shouldn’t be dry inside. It’s best to keep an eye on the doneness toward the end of the cooking time. 

While the brownie is baking, prepare the caramel sauce. First, melt the sugar in a saucepan, stirring continually until it begins to brown. Remove from the heat, add the cream and continue stirring. 

Add the butter and salt, return to the heat and stir until all the ingredients are well blended. 

To serve, slice the brownie in squares and top with the caramel sauce.
