Trendy Bites: Bloody Mary Skewers

For the Bloody Mary combine the tomato juice, lemon juice, Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, vodka and extra-virgin olive oil in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid, filled about one-quarter full with ice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Shake well. (You can also try the non-alcoholic version without the vodka).

Make the skewers. Pierce a stuffed olive, a cherry tomato and a piece of celery with each toothpick. Line up the skewers in a deep dish. Drizzle with the Bloody Mary preparation. Set in the fridge to marinate for half an hour. Serve chilled.
