Ingredients

  • 1 large cucumber
  • 1 medium onion sliced into thin strips
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons STAR vinegar rice
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon STAR Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon gochuragu (Korean red pepper flakes)

Instructions

  • 1.
    Cut the cucumber into thin slices (and then in half).
  • 2.
    In a salad bowl, mix the cucumber with the onion, finely chopped garlic, sesame oil, extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, gochuragu and sesame seeds.
  • 3.
    Mix well and add a teaspoon of sugar (optional). Serve as a side dish to accompany meat or fish.
