Mix the chicken cubes with the cornstarch and soy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

Brown the chicken for a few minutes in a pan with a generous splash of STAR Blend Canola Oil. Remove using a slotted spoon, leaving the oil in the pan, and set aside.

In the same oil, brown the onion and garlic for a few minutes. Add the pepper, sliced into strips, and the chilies. Cook until the pepper softens.

Add the tomato sauce, chili sauce and a splash of water to the pan. Cook everything over low heat for a few minutes.

Add the chicken, mix well, add salt to taste and serve very hot. Accompany with rice or potatoes.
