Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease and line an 8 or 9-inch cake pan with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, sift the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Then add the brown sugar to the bowl and stir to combine.

Next add the walnut drink, olive oil, vanilla, and vinegar and gently fold into the batter. Pour in the hot water and stir until smooth consistency forms.

Place batter into the baking pan and set in the oven for approximately 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once done baking, allow to cook over the counter. If you like to top it with ganache. Add I cup of dairy-free dark chocolate with 1 tbsp of olive oil to a microwave save bowl and heat, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes and pour it all over the cake.
